We welcome applications from all Cornell University students, regardless of major or background, who are committed to promoting community health and safety. ​

 

How to Join PulseGuard

  • Step 1: Subscribe to our mailing list​​

    • Stay updated on upcoming events,  such as info sessions, workshops, and recruitment deadlines. 

  • Step 2: Attend an info session

    • Come meet current members and learn more about our mission, activities, and how you can get involved.

  • Step 1: Fill out the application

    • Click the button below to complete our membership application form.

  • Step 3: Begin your training

    • Accepted new members will be contacted by email and provided additional training to ensure you’re ready to contribute to our team and community.

1. When does recruitment happen?
PulseGuard recruits new members at the beginning of each semester. Be sure to subscribe to our mailing list to stay informed about info sessions and application deadlines.

2. Do I need prior medical experience?
Not at all! We provide all the training you need to be a valuable member of PulseGuard.

3. How much time is required?
On average, members dedicate 1-2 hours per week to meetings, training, and events.

4. Are there membership fees?
No. All training and materials are provided free of charge.

5. Can graduate students join?
Yes, we welcome both undergraduate and graduate students!

6. What does a strong applicant look like?
A strong applicant is passionate about helping others, willing to learn, team-oriented, reliable, and motivated to make an impact. Prior experience isn’t required—your dedication and drive matter most.
